This is my first submission to ARC,
so I hope you like it.
I present my new model 1/72 Matchbox Hawker Tempest Mk.II. This is a old kit but very nice.
I add Eduard's photo etched ZOOM set to get detail more into the cockpit, and a Pavla Models vacu
canopy.
My little Tempest was painted using Humbrol enamels. In box decals
were rather old and I was afraid they would fall apart I put them in the water, so I used a mix of decals from my little modelers warehouse.
My Tempest is a MW 742 serial number machine. This aircraft was purchased from Hawker in May
'48 and it became HA 566 in RIAF service.
